We are very excited to announce that Jay McKnight will be working with our Pre-Novice players this season to teach them the fundamentals of skating and hockey skills. Sessions will provide players with a very thorough understanding of edges and balance and how they relate to the game of hockey.
Jay is a certified Skate Canada Powerskating Instructor who brings 15 years of professional skating and hockey skills instruction including experience with players of all levels including numerous professional, collegiate, and junior level players.
Recently the Niagara IceDogs announced that Jay will be the team's skating coach.
Pre-Novice team coaches will be on the ice as well to work with Jay and his staff.
