Return to Play Plan

Please read article below for Return to Play Plan

GFEMH working in conjunction with Alliance Hockey, OMHA, OHF,  Hockey Canada the National Sport Organization (NSO) for hockey, and provincial guidelines, endeavours to ensure that in every phase of our return the safety of our Players, Coaches, Officials, Administrators and volunteers are at the center of our plan and decision making.
This plan focuses on making the return to hockey fluid while enhancing the experience.

While we will ensure all recommendations are enacted, we will also supply educational materials as they become available to all members/registrants. Risk assessments will be performed by all organizations involved, and should also be taken by all GFEMH families. Final decision making on a local return will rest 100% on our local and provincial Health authorities and the Town of Fort Erie.

The return to the ice is highly anticipated, but understanding there will be a phased approach is important. Safety is at the forefront of any return. We do not know what the return will look like at the moment, but we do know we will be returning in some capacity with programs to continue hockey in Fort Erie.

Thanks, Dave Kelly
