Refund Procedure
Submitted By Rich Gillies on Tuesday, April 6, 2021

Fort Erie Minor Hockey recently had to make the difficult decision to officially cancel the remainder of the 2020/2021 season. Players who registered and participated are now eligible for a pro-rated refund. See below for available refunds:

Beginner: $150

Pre-Novice: $240

Novice – Midget: $235

At this time, we are offering parents and/or players two choices of how to proceed:

1)    Leave the amount owing as a balance forward toward 2021/2022 Registration

2)    Receive a check for the above amount

We understand that several of our players will be ageing out this year (Major Midgets), and that those parents and players will obviously choose option 2. We do, however, ask that most other families choose option 1 to keep it simple and to save us a lot of time, effort, and service fees.

We understand that money can be tight at times like this, so we are offering a 1-year moratorium on registration increases for any family choosing to leave their money towards next season. Families opting for option 1 will be grandfathered in for 2021/2022 registration at pre-Covid 2019/2020 rates.

We have set up a special email address for all registrants to let us know if they will be choosing Option 1 or Option 2. Please send your request to: [email protected] Please be sure to mention the player’s name and division that they participated in so that we can properly record your decision.

Refund checks will be issued at some point after the Covid lockdowns have been lifted and we can regain access to the office.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we thank you as always for supporting Greater Fort Erie Minor Hockey.
