Fort Erie Arena Teams and Patrons

Re: Updated Arena Regulations

On December 2, 2021, the Medical Health Officer of the Niagara Region issued updated requirements regarding recreational facility access. All arenas in the Niagara Region are required to adopt and adhere to the new regulations as outlined below. The following information is being provided to the user groups of the Fort Erie arenas in advance of the changes.

Effective December 10th, 2021, capacity limits will be placed on each dressing room and washrooms in the facilities and access to the dressing rooms will be limited to 15 minutes prior to and 15 minutes after the scheduled rental time. However, there will not be capacity limits to the larger general spaces of the arenas.

Participants may attend the arena prior to the 15 minute dressing room restriction in order to ensure they are screened through the front doors in time. With the limited times in dressing rooms, participants are encouraged to come partially dressed where possible.

Effective December 25th, 2021, all patrons 12 and over ( participants and spectators) are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Only approved medical exemptions will be accepted.

Effective January 1st, 2021, all patrons of the Fort Erie arenas will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination with an enhanced electronic or paper copy of their vaccine record which includes the QR code for scanning.
Vaccine receipts without the QR code will no longer be accepted. Enhanced vaccine records can be obtained from the Ontario Health website or by calling 1-833-943-3900 to have it emailed or mailed at no cost.
