How can I expect my kid to reach his potential when our team does not have a goalie coach!
Approximately 90% of minor hockey teams do not have a qualified goalie coach. Parents are forced to find private training in the off season to get their child ready for the upcoming season.
The difficulty is that most schools are offered only during the summer months. By mid-October the kids are back into those old bad habits again. For goalies to be successful-a commitment has to be made to provide training all year round.
Tenders Goalie School offers Sunday morning Goalie Clinics at the Fort Erie Leisureplex every year. These consist of basic drills and endurance training to keep the kids in shape, provide instruction to keep them on track and out of bad habits and to also give them that edge over other goalies and other teams.
Above is a list of the dates offered for the clinics. Tenders will break the kids up into small groups allowing them to be in a group with kids of their own age.
These clinics are provided by GFEMHA at NO CHARGE to all goalies registered in our programs!
